When St. Michael’s Hospital at Unity Health Toronto looked to partner with the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre, Toronto Radiology was excited to contribute to this important collaboration. This partnership was developed to create capacity while the MRI department at St. Michael’s Hospital underwent a major renovation of their MRI systems. Traditionally, these types of renovations disrupt the continuity of care provided to patients and cause major delays in access to MRI services. This unique opportunity to collaborate with the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre would enable the team at St. Michael’s Hospital to keep providing the same level of care to patients while modernizing their MRI department.
Toronto Radiology was proud to play a major role in this initiative. The radiologists have been providing daily on-site coverage at the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre, supporting the staff and providing patients with the quality care they have grown to expect. This close collaboration between teams, enabled the sharing of best practices and alignment of protocols, ensuring patients received consistent comprehensive care at each site.
