Toronto Radiology at St. Michael’s Hospital would like to congratulate Dr. Errol Colak on being named the Chair of the AI Committee of RSNA. His continued focus on the development of radiology AI tools to advance patient care, has earned him recognition as a leader in machine learning in the radiology community.
Dr. Colak, Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging, University of Toronto, has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles, lectured both nationally and internationally, and received multiple teaching awards from the University of Toronto residency program. His research interests include machine learning applications in medical imaging, pelvic floor disorders, genitourinary imaging, and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Colak was awarded the Odette Professorship in Artificial Intelligence for Medical Imaging in 2019.
